Mike.A was born in the Bronx, New York. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Design in 1996. He is inspired by the earlier age of graffiti and street culture by living in the Brown, New York.

Airbrushing retail store windows throughout the Tri-state area for decades. His unique style caught the attention of some high profile clients such as Heineken. His work was also featured in Airbrush Magazine, Mac Design Magazine and Photoshop User.

After graduation, he became a commercial artist for Goodtimes Entertainment. Then for ten years as a creative director for GT Media and Gaiam. Designing for such clients as the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Hallmark and Target. In 2014, paralleling his successful career he founded TimeDriven. An art and design company focused on creating powerful brands and visual identities for businesses. Mike.A works on commission for both residential and commercial clients. 

His most acclaimed work is a series of seven paintings commissioned for the W Hotel, South Beach Miami, FL for the renowned art collector Aby Rosen. 

His most recent work “A Bronx Tale”. A 100ft mural near Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, NY. Commissioned by Belmont Business Improvement District with a nod to Chazz Palminteri.
